Title: Photography Assistant
Start Date: ASAP
Starting Pay: $15/hour
Hours: Part-time; expect to come in 2-3 evenings per week for a few hours at a time (10 hours per week to start)
Location: Northwest Las Vegas (Summerlin, Central, Centennial)
Qualifications:
Flexible schedule
Interest in photography
Basic understanding of computers and camera equipment
Willing to learn computer programs
Proficiency in written and verbal communication
Proficient use of Apple Operating Systems
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus but not required
Experience with Final Cut Pro and/or Davinci a plus but not required
Reliable transportation
Valid Photo ID
Job Description:
The Las Vegas Real Estate Photographer (and their affiliated photography studio Progeny Photo) is seeking a photography assistant to help support their growing business. The ideal candidate will be proficient with, or able to quickly learn the following tasks:
Upload and organizing photos from camera onto computer
Organize physical photography gear such as stands and lights
Set up and tear down photography gear at various photoshoot locations
Assist with maintaining social media posts and messaging
Assist with client communications and scheduling via email
Other responsibilities TBD depending on the candidate
This position will evolve and has the potential to grow depending on the abilities and proficiencies of the individual hired for the role. Las Vegas Real Estate Photographer is an established professional within the photography and real estate community that hopes to continue growing their business. The right assistant will aid in that growth and be given regular opportunities to go above and beyond the responsibilities listed and earn a higher rate as time goes on.
